The contestants are expected to open the camp for the next ten days gearing for the show.
The Miss Mwanza coordinator John Dotto named the contestants as Sabrina Hamad, Irene Karugaba, Jessica Innocent, Diana Robert, Ester Lawrence, Joella Lazaro and Judith John.
Others are Elizabeth Richard, Semen Steven, Lucy Lemes, Monica James, Zena Msekwa, Stella Charles, Neema Edmund, Elizabeth Zakaria, Kisura James and Lydia Joseph.
The contestants had gathered at Villa Resort Club here on Sunday for registration ahead of the event.
The Miss Mwanza beauty pageantry has been a hit of the city as fans await the event with tenacious zeal.
Sisi Entertainment firm is behind the organisation of the event as Vodacom, Reds, Tanzania National Parks Authority (Tanapa), and Fransac General Suppliers are behind the sponsorship as well.
